The Kenya Environmental Lawyers Association (KELA) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with agencies to strengthen collaboration on environmental conservation, sustainable natural resource management, and climate justice in Kenya. The agreement establishes a framework for joint efforts aligned with KELA’s mandate to promote environmental law, enhance policy and legal frameworks, support public interest litigation, and build capacity in environmental governance. Through the partnership, both parties aim to advance environmental governance and reinforce adherence to the rule of law, while supporting policy and legislative reforms for environmental protection.
